A Few New Wedding Styles
By TheWeddingPlanner on Jul 26, 2010 in Wedding
The times have sure changed from when our parents have gotten married to now. In the time that our mothers had been married everything had to be just right, white, and perfect with no color, wedding had seemed to be a high class affair.
More and more brides are adding new style to the traditional wedding dress that had been at one time only white. Brides are now opting to have more color added to their dresses or have the whole dress another color but white. These days weddings have a new window for decor because brides are choosing to do this. Also there can be linen rented in just about any color under the sun so any color that the bride has chosen can be used.
The old fashioned rose corsage has been replaced by hand tied poises. The poises that are used for corsages are hand tied using a wide satin ribbon. Yet another thing that has changed is that there are more organic flowers that are picked for centerpieces and for decorations anywhere on the wedding and reception. But roses are often used still this might be because of the relation that they have with the meaning of love.
Centerpieces on the brides table have also change making new wedding style. One of the most common centerpieces is to fill a large glass vase full of natural elements such as sea shells, pebbles, beads, fruit or barriers.
These days it seems that any wedding celebration lasts longer then just a day. There sometimes are pre wedding events like boat trips, barbecues, breakfasts, dinners, you name it and there is probably a pre wedding celebration doing it.
So new wedding styles have changed and it seems that just about anything goes. They happen to not be only one day, all white, only roses, and only catered affairs. Wedding that are celebrated in this way make it easier for everyone attending more enjoyable.
On a lighter note, every guest at a wedding enjoys funny wedding toasts. They are an important aspect of the wedding day when the wedding speeches commence. If you’re searching for funny wedding toasts, take a look at www.funny-wedding-toasts.net
